Can I stay here?

I'm super excited about heading to Cashiers, NC this weekend for a wedding!  In honor of my get-away, I have posted some pictures of a spectacular cabin in Cashiers designed by Kathleen H. Rivers. It is comfortable, rustic, classic and truly stunning. I could sip my coffee and stare at the mountains all day from here...no doubt. Enjoy, and have a fabulous weekend!

Wood logs pulled from old barns and cabins
make up all walls in the cabin - amazing.

Loving the locally made barstools.

Using upholstered chairs at the end of the table
creates drama in the dining room.

Concrete countertops - ooh la la!

Classic fabrics are a must in this setting.

Antique chandelier = rustic charm.

    Thanks for your visit to hill country house! I love North Carolina and especially the area around Cashiers and Highlands. Lucky you to get to go there. The furnishings and fabrics in this cabin are perfect - wish I could move right in!

    I LOVE Cashiers! We used to have a lake house next to there. It's such a beautiful area.

    So nice to meet another Mississippi girl!!!
