Jewelry: Dejunked

My jewelry needed some desperate organization so I took a little time to make some order of it all. It was a fun project, and now I can easily find the pieces I want to wear. Without further ado, the result is below.
(More information following photos)

Some items I used for my "new" jewelry space include:
1) Antique cups and saucers to hold my bracelets (Photo 2 and 6)
2) Gold branch display to hold earrings (Photo 3)
3) Childhood jewelry box for my favorite pieces (Photo 1)
4) Compote dish for watches (Photo 4)
5) Wire mannequin to hold longer necklaces (Photo 5)
6) Painting that continues the theme of cups and saucers and brightens the closet space

Below are some other jewelry dislays that I love and inspired my project:

How do you display/keep your jewelry? What different items and/or dishes have you used to hold your favorite pieces? I would love to hear from you!

  1. Hi, just found your blog. I'd love to take the time to organize my own pieces of jewelry in a more attractive way. I love your use of the antique cups. I've put so much time into redecorating the public spaces in my home that I've been neglecting the little private areas that are just for me.

  2. I have been wanting to do this for a while, but I think I will just wait to move into the new house :)

  3. Great job, Martha (ha). When can you come over and do this for ne? Love it!

  4. Very nice! I am a little jealous!! I started organizing my jewelry one day but got overwhelmed and moved on ;) I did find these great divided lucite boxes at the Container store that are perfect for holding smaller more searching for the missing pearl earring anymore!

  5. love how you did it! So pretty. I have the same anthro bird to hang my necklaces on, and one day I'll post how I do my earrings. Great post!

  6. I love this! I use teacups and baskets for my jewelry, too, and I love the way it looks! XO!

  7. LOVE LOVE LOVE what you've done. Wish I had as much jewelry as you! I may need to add to my collection!

  8. These are all great ideas! I had been keeping my jewelry in this awful hanger deal and it just wasnt cutting it. I bought these really cool old wooden boxes and dishes to start storing mine in!
    follow my blog :)

  9. oh wow! Serious organisation! Love the gold bird hanger. Did you get it from reddirect? I asked for that for christmas and my birthday and both times it was out of stock! typical!

  10. Wow. I am honestly just sitting here drooling over your jewelry. ;) But I do love how you have organized it. It is always a challenge for me to find new ways to keep my jewelry from dissapearing.

  11. I love the way you've done this...especially the earrings on the branch organizer. Unfortunately I've been addicted to jewelry for as long as I can remember and have designed jewelry myself for several years...organization is a nightmare with the amount of pieces I have. Maybe someday I'll get this organized. At least I hope so. ;)
    XO Piper

  12. Adore all of the perfectly mismatched tea cups! Normally I love very clean, borderline-minimal style, but I get all warm and fuzzy for tea cups of all styles.

  13. i was going to buy some jewelry holder myself before i saw ur images!!
    so cute...
put earings on antique cups are brilliant ..
    very inspiring!!

    TQ .. XoXo
