While I love her relaxed and sophisticated style, I was surprised that some of the article readers thought it was predictable, like "the same old things" and that the neutral colors were "nameless." Although different opinions are what make the world go round, her color palette and design (for me) are classic and never going out of style - a breath of fresh air after a long day's work.
What do you think about Kristen's style? Do you like her take on traditional design? Or do you wish to see something more unpredictable? I would love to hear your comments...

I'm a fan of her work!
ReplyDeleteOh, I like it, very soothing! She incorporates some glamour and interest in the details, the sunburst mirror, the tile in the bath, that keeps it from being boring! Just lovely! XO!
ReplyDeleteOO the back of those chairs are incredible!!
ReplyDeletehow cool are the backs of those gorgeous chairs???? love em.
ReplyDeleteI like it and I have to say some of the elements are unpredictable (at least in my book). I wasn't expecting the coned chandelier in the dining room. I adore the fabric on the back of the chairs (need to find out the fabric name) and I love the pops of blue in the LR (those table lamps are killer)! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI love all of it, well done. I really love what her house looks like outside as well.
ReplyDeleteI think it's gorgeous and a timeless style. While a more splashy, brightly-colored decor may be fun for a while, it's been my experience that soon I get tired of it and crave a soothing interior like this above. Ms. Cox could decorate my home any day!

I think it is beautiful the only room that looked somewhat predictable was the living room, until I saw the back of the chairs and that made it fun!! I love this home especially the bath and the kitchen!!Kathysue
ReplyDeleteI love it and would live in that house in a heartbeat without changing anything! I don't think it's too predictible at all, just really pretty with a few surprising touches (like the bar of those chairs!).
