The chairs will surround a stained wood meeting table and offer a traditional twist to a fairly modern space. I can't wait to recover them for the project (although I'm entertaining the idea of leaving the original cloth on the seats), and I'll definitely post pictures once they are installed.
While on the subject of cane backs, I have posted some additional pictures of a few that I love. The element of the cane blends so well with many styles and offers such sophistication to a space. I just love them!
First 2 photos: The chairs!
(Sorry for the bad photography skills.
The photos were taken with my phone)

ReplyDeleteGreat blog! Fantastic chairs. I'm a sucker for anything cane and have two french cane chairs I'm working on (OK, haven't quite gotten to them yet) that I picked up at an estate sale. I saw them online at a preview of the sale and drove like a mad woman 25 minutes there praying they were still available. Can't wait to see what you do with them!
