A Sunbrella Summer

If you're like me, you love a great fabric...and better yet - a great outdoor fabric! I thought I would share some images from my favorite outdoor fabric line, Sunbrella! The company offers a wide range of fantastic patterns and colors for all outdoor applications such as pillows, cushions, draperies, umbrellas and hammocks. The list goes on and on. Of course, you can use them indoors as well, but there is no doubt they will add serious pizazz to your favorite outdoor hangout.

As a side note, I used one of the neutral, solid patterns from Sunbrella for exterior draperies at our front entry (see first photo). They have held up beautifully in the hot, humid and often times rainy MS weather with no fading or staining. I couldnt ask for anything more!

What Sunbrella fabrics have you used, if any? What are your favorites? Do you prefer bright, bold patterns or soft neutrals?

  2. Love your entry, I put a curtain on my front porch this year and I love it. I have wanted to do it for the longest time and this year I bit the bullet and went for it. I can not imagine my porch without it now. I love sunbrella fabric. I had two black cushions with white piping made for the porch and they really turned out great. here is the post I did on my porch if you want to see some black and white stripes, Happy Thursday,Kathysue

  3. I love sunbrella fabric! I have been toying with the idea of curtains for my back patio! I am glad to hear that yours have held up well! That has been my biggest concern...the Texas sun and heat can be brutal to fabrics!

I love color but would like black and white like Kathysue used in her above mentioned project!

    Great post!

    Enjoy!

  6. I've been wanting outdoor curtains on my back patio for a while now. Been worried about our Phoenix sun but now I'm a little closer to biting the bullet. I'm thinking John Deere yellow!

  16. Thank you all for the sweet comments! I love hearing them! To answer a question...I have hung the curtains at my entry with a curved iron rod that was custom made for the opening. Then, I found iron tie-backs to match!
