Cool (and Hot) Runnings

I recently ran across these ultra-cool and super-hot water faucets by German brand, Dornbracht, and Italian brand, Zucchetti. Although I'm not in the market for one of these at the moment, I just couldn't resist saving them in my "favorites" file for the future. The Dornbracht faucets are sleek and modern while the Zucchetti fixtures are offered in several eye-popping colors that are sure to spice things up in your kitchen or bar area!

Nature Calling

First of all, let me apologize for being so out of the loop lately. Life has just been a little crazy, but I promise I'll get back on my regular, daily blogging routine.

As summer comes to an end, I wanted to showcase these lovely furniture pieces by Bruehl, a German company. This funky furniture is inspired by natural forms with an ultra-modern edge. They just make me smile, and I love the colors! Now, I don't know how practical these pieces may be but they would definitely make a statement - that's for sure!

Below: Coupole sofa and armchair. The ups and downs of the pieces are inspired by mountaintops with an abstract twist. Designed by Kati Meyer-Bruhl and available in white and sky blue.

Below: Morning Dew Chairs. Designed by Kati Meyer-Bruhl, the chairs are inspired by tulips,

with their graceful petals forming the back and arm rests.

I hope you are having a wonderful weekend. I've been playing in a tennis tournament, and besides the fact that the weather here in Mississippi is super hot and humid, I'm having a blast!

I just love this photo above for several reaons:

1) The accent wall tile is amazing - love the gold and white.

2) The blue chair is so much fun and creates such great contrast against the wall.

3) How lovely is that green, glass lamp?!

4) The little dog is just adorable!
